A well-known singer and television host, he is also a long-standing member of the Estonian National Opera, contributing both as a performer and stage director. An avid enthusiast of Gilbert and Sullivan, he frequently performs their works in the UK. He has released multiple albums internationally and is the author of several bestselling novels in both English and Estonian. Presented to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2006, he is a knight of the Order of St. Stanislaus. In addition to producing and directing numerous stage successes at the Estonian National Opera, he founded his own production company, FilMinistry OÜ, in 2016.
