Aleksandr Milokostnyy is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor. When Aleksandr was six, the father left the family, and the brothers were raised by their mother. Aleksandr studied at secondary school in the center of Moscow on Milyutinskiy Lane. As a schoolboy, he began acting in films. He made his debut in the short film 'Street Champions'. Then he played Ilya Lunyov as a child in the film Troye (1970). He gained nationwide fame in 1969 after his role as Yura Lvov in the film Adyutant ego prevoskhoditelstva (1970) directed by Evgeniy Tashkov. After the premiere of the film, Sasha woke up as a star, people recognized him on the street, people wrote him letters from all over the country.In 1973, he graduated from school and entered the Shchukin Theatre School, where he studied under Anatoli Borisov. During his studies, he starred in the film Granitnye ostrova (1976) directed by Boris Durov. In 1979-1989 he worked in the troupe of the Moscow Regional Drama Theater, where he played leading roles. He played about forty roles on stage.
