Valentino Macchi

He got his start at the theatre in Bologna, and graduated in 1962 from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome; the oldest film school in Western Europe. Starting in the mid-1960s he played numerous small roles as a contract actor of the C.S.C. In 1978 he became a talent scout and agent, then worked in advertising. Fifteen years later he returned to acting again, with a dozen roles over the next fifteen years; collaborating with new Italian directors in TV and film.
