Celina Biurrun is an Argentine actress, director, screenwriter, and producer based between Madrid and Los Angeles. She has built an international career through a series of auteur-driven projects developed and produced across Latin America, North America, and Europe.Her debut feature, Fuzzy Head, which she produced and starred in, premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2023.Her second feature, Llueve Sobre Babel, was shot in Colombia, where she served as producer, and lead actress. The film premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, went on to screen at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and was featured at the Málaga Film Festival in March.Celina is currently developing a fantasy-mystery trilogy set in a dystopian world gripped by political unrest. Through this universe, the project explores the cruelty of power structures and the impunity of those who rule them.Trained in film at Chapman University (USA), she has lived in Argentina, Mexico, Switzerland, Brazil, Spain, and the United States. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian, Celina brings a rich multicultural perspective to her work-reflected both in the stories she tells and the diverse creative teams she builds around them.
