When it comes to being behind the mic, or in front of the camera, there is not much Anthony Powell hasn't had a chance to experience. Anthony grew up in Malibu, California, and might say he has show- business in his blood. His father Richard was a writer for such iconic shows as: "Hogan's Heroes," "Andy Griffith," "MASH," "Mary Tyler Moore," and others. He also grew up, and went to school with: Charlie Sheen, Rob Lowe, Sean Penn, and other well know celebrities.After getting his degree in Broadcast Journalism, Anthony tried his hand at acting, landing roles in such shows as: "General Hospital" and "Matlock." He was also a bachelor on "The Dating Game."In the early nineties, Anthony decided to leave Los Angeles and pursue a career in television news. He would go on to anchor and report in six cities and covered every type of story imaginable: From the most powerful tornado ever recorded, to a serial killer case, and countless others.After leaving television news, Anthony started his own freelance voice-over and on-camera business. From his home studio, Anthony has recorded hundreds and hundreds of voice-over projects in numerous genres. His deep, but friendly voice appeals to a wide variety of audiences.Anthony is also very busy with on-camera work: Hosting, Spokesperson, Acting. He is very experienced with reading a teleprompter, and can deliver any script in an authoritative, yet conversational tone.Anthony can be seen in the soon to be released film "Reagan" starring Dennis Quaid. He has appeared in such popular true crime shows as: "Snapped" and "Investigative Discovery: Why women Kill."He also speaks publicly: "From Malibu to Wichita, Lessons Learned Along The Way," chronicles Anthony's childhood in Malibu, California, to his acting days in Los Angeles, t-v news career in six cities, his freelance voice-over and on-camera business in Wichita, Ks, and owning businesses outside of the entertainment business. He also speaks about the lessons he's learned in living your best life possible.Anthony has also helped produce corporate videos.
