André Dewavrin, also known as colonel Passy, was officer of the French Army during WWII. He served in the Army in Norway during the May 1940 campaign. He left to England after the fall of France and created the BCRA, the secret service of the Free French (and choose the nickname of Passy - a subway station in Paris - to protect his family). He played his own role in the movie L'armée des ombres (Army of Shadows).
