Damon Burks grew up in Water Valley Miss. His most recent roles were in The Wilderness Road and Tales of the Natchez Trace , he also was a Producer on both films. Damon also had a role and helped produce Bastard's Crossing which won best Mississippi Feature film at the Oxford, MS Film Festival. Damon helped produce The Legacy of the 12 Westerns a documentary about making 12 full length western movies in 12 months in 2020. Additional movie roles include, Texas Red, If These Porches could Talk and Son of a Gun now on Amazon Prime and Tubi. Damon is a volunteer for the Oxford MS Film Festival and Executive Producer of the 2020 award winning film festival short SAG film The Golden Years. Damon won an award for Volunteer of the year from the Oxford film Festival 2019. Being a cancer survivor and in remission his focus is on volunteering and helping others and enjoys the positive teamwork of the film industry and people involved.
