Sam Tan is an American actor and stuntman of British-Chinese descent. Raised in Los Angeles, he studied the Meisner technique at Playhouse West under Robert Carnegie. Tan began his career as the "District 8 Tribute" in The Hunger Games (2012). Since then, he has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including CSI: Cyber, S.W.A.T., and Copperhead.He is the son of Phil Tan, a veteran action director and stuntman, who helped him develop various skills from a young age, such as martial arts, gymnastics, and parkour. His older brother, Lewis Tan, is also an actor.
