Matthew Paris attended Memorial High School and played football and ran track for the Mustangs. Growing up, Matthew loved going to see movies with his family and friends. What always interested him was how are movies and television shows made? Matthew's favorite subject in school was English Literature and it was his best subject. During his sophomore year of high school, Matthew was approached by his English teacher. She told him this maybe a talent and you should explore this. After high school, Matthew attended Texas Tech University, where he would earn his Bachelor of Arts degree. While in college Matthew would write short stories, poetry, and screenplays many times for his classes, but also to study the craft. Matthew has written and helped produced several short films. His first short, "Crisis" was produced through Looknow Productions. The movie won many accolades and was sold for distribution. it showed on AT&T U-Verse and DirecTV. Matthew second short film, which he wrote, produced, and directed was called; "The Last Catch". The film would go on to win many accolades and be sold for distribution. Both film played over three continents. Matthew has also written several books on sports that is available worldwide. He resides in Houston, Texas.
