Nakkiah Lui

Nakkiah Lui is an accomplished Australian writer, actor, director, and comedian. She is a proud Gamillaroi/Torres Strait Islander woman and a significant voice in contemporary Australian arts and media. Nakkiah began her playwriting career at the Sydney Theatre Company and has since worked with every major theatre company in Australia. Her notable plays include Black is the New White, Kill the Messenger, and How to Rule the World.
