Adam Groves is an Australian-born actor of English, Irish and German descent. Raised in the suburbs of Sydney by an engineer father and a dressmaker mother, Adam grew up playing piano and tennis before pursuing studies in Health Sciences at university. A chance encounter with legendary acting coach Annie Swann changed his life trajectory. Adam moved to New York City to study at the renowned HB Studio and Neighborhood playhouse. His talent earned him a place in the HB Ensemble Theater, where he performed in productions such as Summerfolk and The American Clock. Following his time in New York, Adam relocated to Vancouver, Canada, where he began working in both television and film. His dialect work stood out, landing him diverse roles-from a Scottish sea captain resurrected in Supernatural to an Iranian photographer in the award-winning film Under the Apple Box. Adam also brought joy to young audiences as Safari Man Dan on CBC's children's programming, channeling a spirited homage to Steve Irwin. After relocating to Los Angeles, Adam continued to build momentum, booking roles on acclaimed series such as The Good Place and Tyler Perry's All the Queen's Men. These opportunities have allowed him to showcase his range and adaptability in both comedic and dramatic work.
