Daniela Carvalho
Daniela Carvalho is a Brazilian director and assistant director with over 18 years of experience in the film and television industry. Born in Salvador, Bahia, she has collaborated with acclaimed Brazilian filmmakers such as Walter Salles, Fernando Meirelles, Hector Babenco, and Arnaldo Jabor.She is best known for her work on the Netflix series Sintonia, where she served as director assistant in the first season and went on to direct episodes in the following seasons. Carvalho was also actively involved in the development of seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5, which became one of Netflix's most-watched non-English language shows globally.In addition to Sintonia, she directed the feature film Deep Hatred (2022) and worked as assistant director on major film productions such as Xingu (2011), Pelé: Birth of a Legend (2016) and Linha de Passe (2008).
