Bitota was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Her parents, however, were born in Africa but eventually immigrated to the United States in their twenties. Being a first-generation American has greatly shaped Bitota's outlook on life and motivation to achieve her dreams.Bitota first started acting in church Nativity plays at 7-years-old. From middle school to high school, Bitota took the stage in a variety of plays from starring as Cyrano in "Cyrano De Bergerac" to taking on the role of Bottom in "A Midsummers Night Dream".
