
Tomás Rojas

September 30, 1976. Actor, Director and Pedagogue, originally from La Paz, B.C.S., Mexico. Recognized for his outstanding career in theater. He has frequently collaborated with the renowned stage directors: Luis de Tavira, Martín Acosta, Hugo Arrevillaga and Mauricio Jiménez. In 2018 he founded the experimental theater company Colectivo SalSiPuedes and in 2020 the performing arts education center La Veta Escénica. He made his film debut in A través del Silencio (2009) and his early roles include La Cebra (2011), Apasionado Pancho Villa (2013) and La dictadura perfecta (2014). He was praised for his work as the protagonist in the films De las muertas (2016) and El club de los idealistas (2020). He also participated in the successful comedies Cuando los hijos regresan (2017) and Mirreyes vs Godínez 2 (2022). On television and streaming platforms, his performances in the series La hermandad (2016), Falsos Falsificados (2017) and Enemigo íntimo (2018) stand out. His most recent character is Alfredo in the film Hombres Íntegros (2024), which has already won an award at the Morelia International Film Festival.
