Cranston Mcdonald is a Grand Bahamian Film Maker/ Producer/ Director/ Editor & Actor, who is passionate about telling stories about people who needs to be heard.Cranston's gift was recognized by his parents in which he grew up in a musical home filled with entertainment and arts. His gift was first used for God in church and this was where He got his direction to start making movies. He started using his kids in short films. He created his first completed film starring his 12 year daughter Abigail McDonald who would be in her first film as a young actress. After this Cranston McDonald knew that the youths of Grand Bahama in The Bahamas had something to offer the film industry and started a Film Camp, he took his Film Summer CAMP to the next level by bringing international artists to help teach these Bahamian kids everything about the film industry.Cranston saw the need to do more than just being behind the camera directing so he started leaping more in front of the camera to help expand his eye in the arts. He landed the role in this amazing film called Saving Bimini and now Cranston McDonald Productions can add another level of Acting classes to his film summer camp.Cranston seeks to be the change for Grand Bahamian in the film industry and open the gates for all who see themselves here.
