Gabriel Gougsa

Gabriel Gougsa is an actor of Ethiopian heritage, a dual National of the US and Italy. He was raised in Rome, and immigrated to the UK for his LLB, at the University of Kent, Canterbury.Gabriel then trained as actor in London at the Identity School Of Acting, from 2017 to 2020.He makes his cinematic debut inhabiting the role of Abraham Imirrù, in the feature film "Ho Visto Un Re", produced by Stemal Entertainment, directed by Giorgia Farina, and with Medusa attached as distribution.The film out now, as of April 30th 2025, in select cinemas across Italy.The film had its first public screening at the 42nd Torino Film Festival 2024."I Saw a King" Synopsis:In 1936, during the Italian war in Ethiopia, the incredible true story of an African prince captured and held prisoner in an aviary in the garden of the Fascist Podestà, under the gaze of the inhabitants of a small town in provincial Italy.
