Rob Van Der Auwera

Rob Van der Auwera is a Belgian actor, and emerging theatre-maker, based in Antwerp. A graduate of LUCA School of Arts, he has co-created and performed in inventive stage works like Heeft u onze jongen gezien? (2021) and the master's drama piece Wasgoed (2023) alongside peers like Willem Herbots.Rob has also transitioned to screen, appearing on television in Coppers (2016) as Wannes and in the 2024 series New Girl (Only Friends episode) playing Robin. His short films include Pepijn (2023), where he played Rob, and There Can Be No Shadow Without Light (2020) which won best Belgian short film at Obskur Ghent Film Festival. Later in 2025 he will be starring in The Big Fuck Up as Paul Misotten and in 2026 as Nick in Florentina.Active in the theatre scene and steadily building his screen profile, Rob brings a thoughtful presence to every role.
