Eva

Evelyn Mahrous known as "Eva" was educated in foreign schools in Egypt, and her accent and appearance landed her many roles playing the "foreigner". She studied at the Faculty of Music Education in Cairo and she did some music videos in the late 1970s. Around that time, she began her artistic journey on stage, appearing in several plays before transitioning to film and television. Her first notable role was in Antar Shayel Saifoh (1983). She married playwright Nagi George, whom she met while working on the play Ahlan Ya Doctor (1980) and who was a friend of the lead actor George Sidhom. They have two sons who both work in film and television.
