Known for: Actor

Thain Wesley, originally named Thain Wesley Lurk, was born in Bountiful, Utah. His family later moved to Pennsylvania, where he spent most of his childhood. Thain's father, Paul, was a chemical engineer, and his mother, Christine, worked as a correctional officer. As a family, they enjoyed watching classic movies such as *Singin' in the Rain* and *The Wizard of Oz*, which sparked Thain's deep passion for cinema and filmmaking from a young age. After attending design school, Thain started his own business designing logos and branding for various restaurants and companies. While working on a friend's music video, he was asked to play a character and ended up swinging a sword for four hours, resulting in bleeding hands and a grin from ear to ear. This experience convinced him that acting was his true calling. Thain subsequently started studying acting and spent his free time working on short films in Toronto, Canada. He eventually landed his first feature film role as "The Lurker" in Adam Jack's horror/thriller of the same name. The film went on to win over 40 festival awards internationally. Thain then reunited with Adam Jack for his next feature film, *Jackknife*, where he portrayed Guy Lachance, a colorful backwoods drug dealer. He collaborated with the team once again to create the drama/comedy *A Farewell to Youth*, in which he played a version of himself as an outspoken comedian trying to help his best friend Matt, portrayed by Matty Cardarople, regain his footing in the comedy circuit. Thain is also set to play Niko, a pizza shop owner, in Adam Jack's latest film, *Clementine*, and has been involved in several other film projects and television roles.
